What to look for in this relationship
- Parent-child pairs often show an Officer or Resource relationship; which side is which changes how conversations go.
- Siblings sharing an element (Companions) are alike — and just as likely to compete.

How it's calculated
We calculate each person's Four Pillars chart using the traditional Manseryeok method, then combine the Five Elements relationship (generating / same / controlling) between the two Day Masters with how each person appears as a Ten God to the other, to produce a compatibility grade and score.

For parent and child, who should go first?
Order does not change the result. The relationship is read from both sides, so either order gives the same score and reading. Adding names makes it obvious who each paragraph is about.
How should I take a low family compatibility?
Family is not chosen, so a low score never means 'keep your distance'. Read the cautions and family paragraph as suggestions — 'in this situation, say it this way and clash less'. Entertainment content for reference.
