What to look for in this relationship

  • A Wealth or Officer relationship often makes a pair where one creates the work and the other finishes it.
  • Same element (Companions) means you move in step, but a quiet tug-of-war over who leads can appear.
  • In the result, read the business/work paragraph under 'By type of relationship' first.

How it's calculated

We calculate each person's Four Pillars chart using the traditional Manseryeok method, then combine the Five Elements relationship (generating / same / controlling) between the two Day Masters with how each person appears as a Ten God to the other, to produce a compatibility grade and score.

FAQ

Is work compatibility calculated the same way as romantic compatibility?

The calculation is identical — the Day Master element relationship and Ten Gods are the same. What differs is how the result is read for each relationship. An Officer relationship that can feel heavy between partners, for example, often becomes a clear, productive pairing at work.

What if compatibility with my boss comes out low?

Compatibility is not right-or-wrong; it shows which ways of working click. The result's cautions and relationship-type paragraphs include communication suggestions — use those in the actual relationship.
